Job description

We are seeking a Payments Product Owner to lead the development and optimization of our payment products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our payment solutions meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Define and communicate a clear vision for payment products, aligning with business objectives and market needs.

  • Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on stakeholder input and market analysis.

  • Backlog Management: Oversee the product backlog, ensuring tasks are well-defined and prioritized to meet evolving requirements.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality payment solutions.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment and effective communication.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct research to understand industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs, informing product decisions.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish success metrics and monitor product performance, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a Product Owner or Product Manager role, preferably within the payments industry.

  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with payment processing technologies and software development practices.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market data and user feedback to inform product decisions.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding standards in the payments sector.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
